As part of this maintenance, we will be releasing the Nova Day update, which includes the new weapon, the Spear.

What's in This Update

Added the new weapon, the Spear, and the new stat, Fortitude.

[Developer Comment]
The Spear is a dealer-type melee weapon that specializes in helping you break through enemy lines

and sweep through multiple targets using a variety of AoE Attack skills, great mobility, and high CC Resistance.

With a base range of 4m, it allows you to deal damage from a more stable position, easily reach enemies in the back,

and disrupt tightly packed enemy camps with multiple CC effects to make things difficult for them.

The weapon gets stronger as it continues to fight.

Depending on your skill specialization, you can choose between focusing damage on a single target

and dealing AoE damage to multiple enemies to act as a powerful dealer, or you can take the lead on the battlefield with Burst,

which reduces enemy CC Resistance, Ignite, which deals damage over time, and Fear, which incapacitates enemies.

We hope you'll take full advantage of the Spear's Active and Passive skills and specializations to find new ways to enjoy TL combat.

Combat balance per weapon and the Artifact effects will be adjusted, and the CC Immunity system will be improved.

- Changed the Maximum Mastery Level and rebalanced skills by weapon.

- Adjusted the effects of some Artifacts.

- Improved the CC Immunity system.

■ Weapon Mastery

- Expanded the Maximum Weapon Mastery Level to 20.

- When Weapon Mastery reaches Level 20, Training Dew can no longer be used.

- Any excess EXP accumulated until the next maintenance will be retained and applied to the next updated available Mastery Level.

■ Greatsword

- Gaia Crash

> Changed [Gaia Crash] and [Frost Cleaving] to deal 100% more damage to monsters.

> Changed the Range ▲ specialization to only increase the width of Flash Flurry's recovery projectiles.

> Fixed an issue where the Longbow effect, Blitz, would not apply.

■ Wand

- Ray of Disaster

> Increased [Ray of Disaster] damage by 30% against monsters.

> Fixed an issue that could cause [Ray of Disaster] to remain when the caster dies.

- Vampiric Contract

> Added a tooltip stating that it is not affected by the caster's and the target's recovery-related stats.

> No change in mechanics from before.

■ Artifact

- Ruling Demon: Solar Stone

> Adjusted the [Uncontrollable Labyrinth] skill effect.

> All CC Resistance 1,500 ▲ for 5s -> All CC Resistance 1,250 ▲ for 5s

- God Forsaken Priest: Solar Stone

> Changed the [Spiteful Defense Spell] skill effect.

> 100% chance of Defense 70 ▲ for 3s when hit for 10s. Up to 10 stacks. -> 100% chance of Damage Reduction 8 ▲ for 3s when hit for 10s. Up to 10 stacks.

- Greedy Mind's Eye: Lunar Stone

> Adjusted the [Scheming Gaze] skill effects.

> Skill Damage Resistance 50 ▲ for 5s when I'm Petrified, Stunned, Sleeping, Silenced, or Bound. Up to 5 stacks. -> Skill Damage Resistance 70 ▲ for 5s when I'm Petrified, Stunned, Sleeping, Silenced, Bound, or Collided. Up to 3 stacks.

■ CC Immunity System

- Changed the amount of immunity accumulated during CC effects.

- Added the ability to accumulate additional immunity if additional CC effects are applied during CC effects, or if CC effects are applied for 1s after the CC effect ends.

The new Precious Purification Stones will be added.

- Added new Precious Purification Stones with some additional effects.

- The new Purification Stones yield Precious Purification Stones when dissolved.

■ Precious Purification Stone

- Added the Weaken Duration 75% ▼ effect for 1s after use of Precious Purification Stone.

- Added 4 new Precious Purification Stones that share cooldown, with additional effects added to the original Precious Purification Stone.

Arena Season 1 will end and Pre-Season will begin.

- Changed to Pre-Season with the addition of Hyper Boosting Season 2 and the new weapon, the Spear.

- The new battleground, Toxic Arena, will be added.

> The duration of the new Arena Pre-Season is as follows.

- New Battleground: Toxic Arena

> The Toxic Arena is a map with tall pillars in the center.

> Over time, the Toxic Arena will create Poison tiles.

- At the start of the Arena, 1 of the 3 battlegrounds (Challenger's Battlefield, Twisted Laboratory, and Toxic Arena) will be randomly selected.

※ The Poison Zone deals extremely high damage in a short amount of time.

- Improved the Arena so that at the start of a match, all characters have their Health and Mana fully restored.

- The Morph given out at the end of Arena Season 1 will be a limited-time Morph that will be available for 100 days.

Content schedule will be adjusted.

- Changed the Inter-Server Guild Battle schedule from once every 2 weeks to once every week.

- Siege Warfare reward rates will be adjusted and will be available in additional Inter-Server Guild Battles.

■ Inter-Server Guild Battle

- Changed the Inter-Server Dynamic Event and Inter-Server Dimensional Space schedule to once every 2 weeks (Friday and Saturday) to every Friday and Saturday.

The tax reward rate for each event will remain the same as before, at 1% of total accumulated tax.

■ Siege Warfare

- Changed the Siege reward from 40% to 20% of the existing Castle Tax.

※ The reduction will be provided as Inter-Server Dynamic Event and Inter-Server Dimension Space rewards.

■ Content Schedule Adjustments

- The Dynamic Event, Field Boss, and Archboss schedules will start anew.

> There is no change to the volume of content that occurs, but the schedule for each server will be changed.

Gameplay experience for some content will be adjusted.

- Changed Team Party Matchmaking to auto-start when you join the Dominion Event during the Dynamic Event.

- The way in which field boss and archboss loot is acquired will be changed based on Contribution.

■ Dynamic Events

- The red fog in the waters near the Swamp of Silence will disappear at the end of the Dynamic Event, Healing Touch for Divine Beasts.

> You can swim across the sea or ride Minutrite to the red fog island.

- Improved Team Party Matchmaking to auto-start when you join the [Dominion Event].

> You can adjust the auto-matchmaking option in [Settings - Gameplay - Content - Party].

- During the [Dominion Event], characters on the same team will become allies.

> Even if you're not in the same party, you can use Ally skills for each other.

■ World

- The existing Conflict Zone will be changed to War Zone.

> In the War Zone, all characters other than allies (same party, same guild, and friendly guilds) are always hostile.

※ AoE attacks can now be used to attack non-allied characters immediately, and the attacker will not enter PVP Combat State.

- The target content is as follows.

- Field Boss - Conflict

> Archboss - Conflict

> Dynamic Event - Guild

- Due to the change in the nature of content zones, the icons and descriptions that were previously labeled as Conflict will now be labeled as War.

■ War Type Boss Contribution

- Loot from War-type field bosses and archbosses will only be offered to guild members in the top 30% of total Guild Contribution.

■ Field Bosses

- Partially adjusted the War Zones of the field bosses, Daigon and the Manticus Brothers.

■ Dimensional Circle

- Adjusted the amount of Abyssal Contract Token Points is when reward box opens after defeat the Dimensional Circle’s boss cleared.

- Cruel Witch's Garden: Removed some traps in the Normal section.

- Added a guide to the 3-Star Dimensional Circle boss defeat stage to help check the boss monster's strategy.

■ Dimensional Trial

- Changed the Dimensional Trial Ranking Reward availability from Ranks 1 - 100 to Ranks 1 - 200.

> Also, up to 200 Dimensional Trial rankings can be viewed per server.

■ War Games

- The name of ‘Great Battle’ changes to ‘War Games’

- Increased the maximum player capacity to 300 per battleground and to 72 per team.

> When setting up a team, you can now select 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 48, or 72 players.

■ Codices

- Adventure Codex [Chapter 10: Nightmare Déjà Vu]: Added Appendix ▶ Wolf and Spear.

- Register it to Notifications through Favorites in Content Notifications (H) and enjoy the story of the great Guardian.

> Unlocked after the Chapter 10: Nightmare Déjà Vu > Clay's Trail code is completed.

> Complete Appendix ▶ Wolf and Spear to acquire Guardian Aranka.

- Swamp of Silence Exploration Codex: Changed the playable content of Tiny Friend's Swimming Practice.

> Added a code to help Torbbit find his marble after rescuing him from the mud.

- Chapter 12: Monster Swamp: Added the Appendix codex, Sing, Lunar-Bell!

- Chapter 12: Monster Swamp - Appendix Codex: Apricot Pie Gift: Improved to clearly indicate if the cooking is successful.

The controller-related conveniences and improvements will be made.

- Improved the inconvenience of using the system with the controller.

- Fixed areas where controller operation was not smooth.

■ Menu Navigation Improvements

- Improved menu navigation on screens that could previously be navigated only with the D-pad, so that the L-Stick can now be used in the same way.

(The following screens will be improved first, and the rest will be updated sequentially.)

- Improved scrolling with the R-stick to control the speed based on the tilt of the analog stick.

■ Auction House Usability Improvements

- After searching, you can now auto-move focus to the searched list for further exploration.

> Applied the same usability to entering the Auction House through the Trait List or Auction House Search item in the item context menu.

- Improved to immediately display the full search list when you reset your search terms.

■ Skill Quick Slots Set Switching Operation Improvements

- Added the [Custom] item to allow changing to the previous or next Skills set freely.
> Added the following items to [Settings]-[Controller]-[Presets]-[Custom].

> Changing the Quick Slots set will now display a toast pop-up in the HUD to inform you of the change.

■ Combat Settings

- You can now enter the Combat Settings screen through the ring menu. (The Emote menu will be moved to Page 2.)

■ Error Fixes

- Fixed an issue where the camera would focus on the "Does not meet Level Requirement" text on the [Party Board] - [Recruitment Registration] screen.

- Fixed an issue where the Auction House would not close properly when entered through the context menu.

- Fixed an issue where locked content was displayed in the Notifications group.

- Fixed an issue where the main menu tooltip would not resize variably based on the length of the text.

- Fixed an issue where hyperlinked text would launch when scrolling in the Leveling Log details.

- Fixed an issue where the virtual cursor would not show when you hovered over input fields and hyperlinks.

Hyper Boosting Season 2 will begin.

- Server Operation Period: Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 8:00 PM KST - Wednesday, January 8, 2025, before the regular maintenance

- Starting at 8:00 PM, you'll have access to the Boosting event and passes to grow your character quickly.

- We look forward to your interest and participation in Season 2, which will offer enhanced benefits compared to Season 1. For more information, please refer to the [Notice] <Hyper Boosting Season 2> Server Info announcement.

- During the Hyper Boosting Season 2 Servers are operating, ‘Conquest Reward’ which can receive the one of expected rewards will be added to ‘Gold Reward Chest’ which can acquired from clearing the Dimensional Circle.

[Prelude: Star-born] Fixed an issue with the cutscene sound not playing properly after Arkenum's Spectral Wizard is defeated.

[Chapter 11: Wizard's Traces - Appendix Codex: Hidden Treasure in the Waterfall] Fixed an issue where Gray Dolph's dialog voice would not be played.

- [Dimensional Circle > Island of Terror]

Fixed Kertaki randomly stopping dead in his tracks and only using his Geyser pattern once at 90% Health or higher.

- [NPC Greetings]

: Added missing greetings for some NPC citizens in Talandre.

: Fixed an issue where the greetings of functional merchants in Laslan, Stonegard, and Talandre did not match the situation.

: Fixed an issue where the Map and Mini Map icons for some NPCs in Herba Village would disappear during Siege Warfare.

- [Other Error Fixes]

: Repositioned a piton that interfered with interaction with the Advanced Accessory Crafter in Herba Village.
